The Handel House Museum is located on the upper floors of 25 and 23 Brook Street. 25 Brook Street was the residence of George Frideric Handel between 1723 and 1759 and 23 Brook Street was the home to rock legend Jimi Hendrix 1968-1969.

After the critical acclaim of Too Hot To Handel, squib-box has been invited back to the Handel House Museum to present Too Hot to Handel Too, a concert that celebrates the genius of these two musical legends simultaneously. In this sequel, we imagine what would have happened if Handel and Hendrix would have met as neighbors and the jam session that would have followed.

We have an all-star line-up, featuring:

Mark Knoop – harpsichord
Adam de la Cour – voice/guitar
Federico Reuben – live electronics

Neil Luck – miscellaneous

You can expect baroque n’ roll, wigs, fugal improvisation, guitar virtuosity, period costumes, laptop wizardry and psychedelic arias.
